Welcome, students of Year 10 Commerce.

As you head towards the end of your time at this school, we have prepared a mission for you. A race towards financial independence. A bit of a competition, if you like.


You are all going to "move out of home". You will be paid a weekly wage, and will be expected to manage the money in whatever way keeps you healthy and happy. Every few days, you will be faced with a new decision, a decision faced by most financially independent adults, and the way you make your decision will determine your financial success.

Being independent is all about the choices you make. Now that you've got money and independence, how will your choices affect your lifestyle?
